Magnificent.
This book brought tears to my eye.
After watching the movies, I knew I had to read at least the first book. Within the first 10 pages, I received more clarification and depth to the movies. I felt immersed in their world, longing for my own place in Caladan or wishing I could experience the spice as the guild navigators do. I felt like I too, have a destiny, I too have expectations from my parents and I must navigate both to the best of my ability.
